Will dated 26 Jan 1787, proved 14 Mar 1787, mentions: (i) his niece Ann Harrison, wife of Thomas Harrison & their children then living, Christopher, Edward George & Henry Thomas Harrison, all infants, (ii) [?] Lupton, an infant about 4 months old, the daughter of Robert Lupton of Ripon, Yorks., shopkeeper and of Isabella [his niece, nee Markinfield] his late wife who lately died (iii) his sister Henrietta Newbury, sister Ann Hollyday, nephew Thomas Newbury, niece Ann Newbury, nephew Blackett [?], niece, Catharine[?][Parry[?], nephew Thomas Markenfield, niece Isabella Markenfield. At burial "Mr. Christopher Ridsdale from London buried in the North Isle in the Choir in the first vault that has been made there since the Pavement began."".
