Note
Son of Mr. John Conyers. A great-grandson of the 1st baronet. 5th Bt. Inherited the title on the death of his cousin Sir Baldwin Conyers in 1731. Robert Surtees, in an 1810 letter to The Gentleman's Magazine, refers to Ralph being a glazier in 1731. The then baronet, (in 1810), was Sir Thomas Conyers, a pauper in Chester-le-Street Workhouse. The Baronetage of England shows his death as 22 Nov 1767.
