The evidence that it was this Margaret Manwaring/Mainwaring, then of Islington, who married George Yardley in London in 1754 and Francis Mitford in Swettenham in 1761 is circumstantial. However, it is known that other members of the Cheshire Mainwarings married in and around London, and Francis Mitford was the 2nd cousin 1xremoved of Sir Henry Mainwaring of Peover Hall, Over Peover, about 4 miles from Swettenham. |

"Cambden" refers to Chipping Campden, Gloucs. near the Batsford estate, at the time home of Elizabeth (nee Reveley), wife of Thomas Edwards Freeman and great-granddaughter of Barbara Mitford. The estate passed to the Mitford family in 1809. |
