Appointed Lecturer of All Saints [Newcastle] 26 Jan 1666 until his death in 1671. 16 Feb 1672/3 Bargain and sale from Christopher Blackett of Hoppyland, gent. to Thomas Robson of Toft Hill, gent, of a parcel of arable land of 60 acres, in Scrap loft, Leics, called The North Field in tenure of Alexander Bickerton left by the Will made March 1670/1 of William Bickerton of Newcastle Clerk [p.e. cleric] to Christopher Blackett to sell, the proceeds to be apportioned to Jane, wife of William and 7 children. Consideration £640. Will dated 16 Mar 1671.
