Note	2nd Bt. M.P. for Newcastle. Died without legitimate issue. This Baronetcy therefore became extinct. Will dated 14 Aug 1728 mentions Woodcroft among his estates. (Woodcroft subsequently sold in 1766 as part of a sale of much of Sir William's assets ordered by the Court of Chancery.) His body lay in state for several days before burial.
